Michael is Past Chair of the WoodGreen Foundation, which brings innovative solutions to tough social issues facing Toronto.
Sarah is the sort of person who knows your kids’ favorite sports and your flex plan equally well. Prior to joining our firm in 2012, she led the Canadian consulting business at a global human resources and outsourcing firm. She’s a frequent speaker on industry issues and a member of the advisory board of Benefits Canada.
Judy’s meticulous eye and encyclopedic knowledge of benefits comes with the desk-side manner of a favorite family member. Trusted with our client’s most complex and sensitive issues, she has been with the firm since 1999. Formerly, she worked as an underwriter specializing in disability and risk management.
Francine has built a career out of her passion for diligently nailing the details, and in 2015 she brought over 15 years of industry experience and a knack for precision to Accompass.
Backed by 12 years at a major national insurer and another 3 years at a multinational consulting company, Francine is a seasoned technical analyst, and provides insights on plan design and financial arrangements.
Vanessa brings a warm personal touch to our client’s difficult issues. Equally skilled at financial analysis and at patiently explaining the finer details of plan administration, she joined us in 2014 after serving as an underwriter at a leading insurance company.
Kelcey has a keen ability to immediately put you at ease with her relatable personality and passion for making an impact. She joined the Accompass team in 2016 with experience at two large insurance companies and has experience volunteering for such organizations as the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Arthritis Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Since 2002, Mark has been bringing the power and stamina of competitive cycling to helping clients understand complex legislation and select investment managers and funds. His expertise also extends to managing retirement plans. He has worked with high net worth clients at a leading Canadian investment firm and specialized in group retirement plans at a major insurance company. Mark is a Jury member for the Morningstar Investment Awards Pooled Fund category.
Dana’s infectious passion and enthusiasm for solving complex problems has been a tremendous asset in her thirty years of U.S. group benefits and health insurance experience. Prior to joining the Accompass team in 2016, Dana was an account manager for a large global benefits firm in New York.
Jan’s relationships with clients defy expectations; she considers her clients some of her closest friends. Drawing on her extensive knowledge, she has a uniquely graceful way of delivering plans that feel just right for a client’s culture. She joined us in 2007 after serving as a Client Manager at a leading insurance company.
Amy gives fresh meaning to the words “service with a smile.” She brings grace, warmth, and 18 years of experience to the management of relationships with clients and insurers. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Amy was the recipient of the prestigious Service Award at one of Canada’s largest insurance companies. She is a member of the Ontario Committee of the Canadian Pension & Benefits Institute.
Melissa brings to Accompass a fresh and optimistic energy, with a flair for being resourceful. She has 7 years of experience supporting leaders at a number of industries.
Patrick brings a special talent for achieving the perfect balance of customized plan design, financial management, and employee engagement. Before joining our team in 2007, he was a Senior Group Underwriter at one of Canada’s major insurance providers.
Wakeef’s natural charm yielded an instant chemistry with his colleagues when he joined the firm in 2016. Clients benefit from Wakeef’s collaborative approach to achieving their objectives.
Jeff couples the cool-headed acumen of a seasoned finance leader with the clear-eyed perspective of an avid golfer. He oversees all aspects of our finance and operations. Prior to joining the company in 2012, he oversaw finance at a number of organizations, including one of the world’s largest lifestyle brands.
Mohamed is a wizard at making clients’ lives easier, combining a skilled hand at investment analysis with a talent for innovating new ways to automate reporting and administration. With expertise in investment manager research for pension plans, as well as retirement analysis, he joined our team in 2014 from a multi-national consulting firm.
Barbara’s keen eye for detail and sheer adaptability – from rigorous financial management, to granular service issues, to internal processes and procedures – make her uniquely valuable. She joined the firm in 2000.
Chris cuts through the clutter with boldness, simplicity, and an appreciation for the information that clients find most valuable. He served as Director, Corporate Brand & Marketing at one of Canada’s largest insurance companies before joining our firm in 2014.
Tiina cuts through the noise to zero in on perfectly-tuned solutions with the verve of a seasoned choral singer. Prior to joining us in 2015, she held senior positions in two of North America’s largest human resources consulting firms. She is a member of the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist committee of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and acts as a facilitator on their examination review panel.
Clients appreciate Mike’s refreshing authenticity and desire for making a difference. He has volunteered for the United Way, Meals on Wheels, and West Neighbourhood House. Mike has a Masters in International Business from Queen’s University.

Laura’s greatest strength is reading and understanding people — and knowing what they’re looking for. She joined the growing Benefits & Health team at Accompass as a Consultant in 2016, bringing with her 16 years of client service acumen on both the consulting side as well as with a large national carrier.
18-year industry veteran Monique Mowers joined the Benefits & Health team in 2016 as a Consultant. Monique brings with her an instinct for nailing every detail. Prior to joining Accompass, Monique spent 6 years at a consulting firm where she was a Benefits Specialist focused on overall account management for clients of all sizes. Monique spent 12 years as a service representative at a large national insurer.
Behroze joined Accompass in 2016, bringing with him 16 years of industry experience and a knack for finding solutions to operational challenges. Behroze graduated from the University of Toronto in economics and industrial relations.
Anand is an expert at revealing the wider strategic implications and reducing the unseen risks behind executive compensation. He brings two decades of experience to the sensitive work of advising boards and management on the design and governance of executive compensation programs. Prior to joining Accompass, Anand led one of Canada’s best-known executive compensation practices. In 2017 Anand obtained the Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from The Directors College (a joint venture between The Conference Board of Canada and McMaster University). He is a faculty member of The Directors College, a development program for corporate directors.
Debbie has a knack for making otherwise complex, dry subjects seem easy and engaging, whether she’s assisting clients or educating their members on retirement planning. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, her insight into group insurance and retirement plans was honed at one of Canada’s largest insurance carriers.
Anne’s passion for people is reflected in her volunteer work as well as throughout her 20 year career building compensation solutions for her clients. She brings leadership experience in senior roles at major global human resources firms, banks, and insurance companies and often speaks at industry conferences and in trade publications.
Robert brings a surgeon’s sensitive touch to the numbers behind your premiums. He combines a mathematician’s mind with a deep grasp of what drives underwriting decisions. Prior to joining our team in 2006, he was an underwriter at one of Canada’s major insurance providers.
Dimitri brings the steely nerve of a seasoned soccer player to combine his investment acumen with an ability to score where it matters most: client relationships. Prior to joining our team in 2015, he was a consultant in the Group and Retirement practice at an international consulting firm. Dimitri graduated with an Honours Actuarial Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Neil is as obsessed with getting the details right as he is with making their meaning clear, by translating complex data in ways that boards and executive leaders can digest and act on quickly. Prior to joining Accompass, Neil was an executive compensation consultant at a leading human resources company.
Dianne has a gift for juggling a hectic home life with her husband and two kids, along with the demands of a seasoned senior retirement and investment professional. She joined Accompass in 2012. Since 1998, Dianne has conducted investment manager research, analysis, and provides a wide array of consulting services, including plan design analysis, performance monitoring, asset mix strategy, record keeper and investment manager selection, and CAP governance oversight.
Everything Sandra does is a testament to the fact that details are important and relationships matter – from her strategic questions, to her appreciation of the nuances of a company’s culture, to her understanding of each client’s individual goals. She has been delivering multi-faceted results for our clients since 1999.
Cathy is the voice of Accompass. As the first point of contact for those reaching our offices, she has a special talent for making clients feel taken care of. With us since 2001, she masterfully manages our office and its administration.
Angela is a master of the data. Her handiwork can be seen in our benchmarking studies, our presentation of data to clients, and in total rewards statements received by our clients’ employees. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she was a manager of pension and benefits at one of Canada’s largest energy companies.
Karen’s pragmatic ability to separate the facts from the noise is an asset that made her a natural fit when she joined the Finance team at Accompass in 2016. Her balanced perspective was honed through her vast financial experience and broad spectrum of responsibilities with one of the country’s biggest enterprise information technology firms.
Lesley applies her calm manner and analytical mind to our clients’ most challenging problems. She joined the firm in 2008, having worked as a Client Manager in underwriting at one of Canada’s major insurance companies. She currently sits on the examination panel for the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) program.
